NDA Announced the candidate for The presidential election. This time NDA decided to nominate a tribal woman, Draupadi Murmu as the candidate for the presidential election.
The parliamentary board of NDA nominates Draupadi Murmu for the presidential election in 2022. In a press conference, J.P Nadda (President of Bharatiya Janata Party) announced Draupadi Murmu as the candidate for the presidential election.

Draupadi Murmu comes from a background in the educational sector. She had begun her life as a teacher. After that, she served as a counselor and vice-chairperson of Rairangpur. She dedicated herself as a teacher. Later on, she got an opportunity to become the MLA of Rairangpur two times and served as a minister of the Odisha government. Later on served as a 9th governor of Jharkhand State from 2015 to 2021.
